Mourning Letter
|
It was customary to use black edged note paper when dealing with the affairs od a deceased relation. In this example Caroline Rule of Roscarrack, Falmouth is writing to R. Matthews suggesting he send her 'Irish' car to Helstone (sic) with her servant to meet the servant of Matthews to collect a cheque for 10 pounds. It is dated 4th July, 1894.
