Religious - Urn

The urn represents immortality, sometimes attributed to the Egyptian belief that life would be restored through the prerservation of the vital organs in an urn. This example is from the partly buried headstone of HENRY MARTIN, 1869, at the Garden of Rest, St. Agnes. CIP Ref. 69/241.
