Within the ecclesiastical parish of Treslothan the main location for memorials is the parish church of St John the Evangelist and the churchyard. The centre of population of the parish is the village of Troon and in 1898 Troon cemetery was opened and became the main burial ground for the parish, however, the cemetery just lies outside the parish borders but it has been included within this register.
